In 1950, August Züllig Sr. moved to Ascona and rented a shipyard.
Years later, he founded his own shipyard where he spent decades designing and building mahogany motorboats (including vessels for the lake police and rescue services).
His son Augusto Jr. learned the same trade as his father, who in 1983 handed over the shipyard to Augusto and his wife Ingeburg.
This passion was also passed on to daughter Annette, who decided to join the shipyard business in 2000.
In 2010, we expanded our operations with the acquisition of the Flury shipyard in Magadino — and also celebrated 60 years of boatbuilding activity!
The complete renovation of the nautical workshop marked another step toward modernization.
